On November 28, 2025, I partnered with the Council on Aging of Ottawa, Community Navigation of Eastern Ontario (CNEO), and the Ottawa Police Service to host another edition of my Seniors’ Tea Speaker Series at the Orléans United Church (1111 Orléans Boulevard).
This session focused on Staying Safe and Secure: Tips for Seniors and featured an engaging panel discussion covering home safety, fraud prevention, and community safety.
Our speakers included:
– Sarah Bercier, Executive Director of the Council on Aging of Ottawa, who shared practical tips for staying safe at home.
– Daniel Danford Dussault, Communications and Development Manager at CNEO, who highlighted the 211 service and strategies to avoid scams.
– Constable Bradley Burleau, Ottawa Police Service, who provided insights on neighborhood safety and recognizing fraud.
The presentations from each speaker are available below. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this informative event! Staying connected and informed is one of the best ways to stay safe and secure.
